Who needs to be able to view student work?
It helps to think what you need to do at the end of the semester/session. Any combination of these options may be used:
- - share with an individual or more than one individual
- - share with a group
- - share publicly
- - use a random (secret) link
If this is done at the start of the class, it will give access to student work throughout the period of the class. However, students can remove the access.
Also, students sometimes may be dissatisfied with a first attempt and start a new page or collection - which would need a new share/link.

Public?
Students can share their pages publicly if this is appropriate. It will then be possible to find the portfolios using a search engine.

Peers?
Students can share their portfolio pages or collections with the group and members will then be able to provide feedback at the foot of the page(s). This is useful for peer review.

Single tutor?
Students can share their page or collection with a single tutor (or a number of tutors). If done at the start of the module, this gives the tutor(s) viewing access to the page(s) throughout the period of the module - although it is possible for students to remove the access.

Teaching team?

Externals?
A secret URL is a random link which gives viewing access to a page without requiring a login.
Ask students to create a secret URL and email it to you. You can then forward a list of secret URLs to the external when required.
